Pianist & Organist
Pianist Matthew Raisky has an extensive background in classical performance and accompanying. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Bowling Green State University in 2018 where he studied under Dr. Robert Satterlee, and studied piano pedagogy with Dr. Cole Burger. In Fall 2020, he received his Colleague certification from the American Guild of Organists. Performances include working with the Combustible Arts Ensemble at the ArtsX festival, Virginia Violets and the Rays at the Hamtramck Music Festival, and solo sets at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. He has studied with concert artists and professors including the Arthur Rubinstein International Master Piano finalist Yevgeny Yontov, Dr. Caroline Bridger, and Dr. Michael Coonrod. In addition to his specialization in contemporary and late-romantic piano works, Raisky studied Organ with Professor Michael Gartz. He is an active teacher and serves as the Director of Music at Pilgrimage United Church of Christ in Marietta, GA.
